Eternal Love

Passion Project | Product Design | 2019

Card Flatlay.png

One of my first freelance projects where I worked on the ideation, iteration and execution on my own. In one of my first meetings with the client, the duo told me that,  "Marriage is not a word. It's a sentence; a life sentence" and that they were ready for this sentence and wanted everything to be special just like their relationship.

Sampada an HR and a super humble person at heart always dreamt of a fairy tale wedding with flowers and glitter and whatnot. After meeting a few people she quickly realised that maybe "the perfect match" is something that can only be seen in movies and in books.

As she was losing her high hopes, she met Chetan through a common family friend who was an Architect and worked in Sri Lanka and their ideas matched and immediately they knew this relationship meant something to an extent wherein, they decided to get married within a month of their first meeting.

The client brief here was to make a wedding card that simply looked elegant, had a pastel tone to it and had a splash of gold. The front cover of the card is an amalgamation of their initials with a floral background with a pinch of gold. This design was also used to make tote bags and mugs which were distributed to the guests that attended the wedding as a souvenir of their love.
